What a wonderful stay - great place with a raised garden leading down to the pool area and a separate building which was a godsend for working from (if it’s not just a holiday you’re on). Very quiet town so you need a car but beautiful area and totally unspoilt. Carol and Stephane are absolutely first rate hosts.

We had a lovely break here. The kids loved the swimming pool and bikes were available too. Communication was excellent and any questions answered straight away. Very quiet and well equipped place, we would definitely visit again!

😀 - Perfekt hus og have til familie med tre store teenagebørn. Faciliteter og renlighed helt i top, privatlivet og den store grund med egen pool og loungeområde var formidable rammer for afslapning. Wifi fungerede upåklageligt både på hastighed og stabilitet. En ekstra luksus var Honesty baren som bød på lækker kold champagne, vin og is. Beliggenheden i en lille smuk autentisk by med masser af spændende champagneoplevelser i gå- og cykelafstand var endnu et plus. 😞 - Vi elskede alt!

We had a lovely time at the house, which is private and very spacious. Really nice and large pool as well as courtyard area. Inside is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Had a few questions during our stay and got replies straight away.

La Villa Lombardi is beautiful, in a stunning location and easy to find with excellent instructions from Stephane who was incredibly responsive to queries. The house is lovely with a private courtyard, pool, hot tub and 3 en-suite bedrooms; all immaculate with super-comfortable beds. Overall we had a really lovely stay with wonderful local restaurants within walking distance and champagne tasting chez Mme Goussard who was an absolute hoot! Highly recommended. Villa Lombardi is the perfect place to relax and unwind and Les Riceys is perfect for eating and drinking well.

We had a wonderful 10 days. Stephane couldn't have been more helpful and incredibly responsive. The pool is perfect and the house was wonderful for our two young children with lots to do.

Superbe séjour à la villa Lombardi dans un cadre idéal. Les jours de soleil, nous avons profité de l'extérieur avec piscine et terrasse. Le seul jour de pluie, nous étions à l'intérieur joliment décoré. Carol et Stéphane ont tout prévu pour nous accueillir dans les meilleures conditions. En plus, leur champagne est délicieux! Vivement le prochain séjour chez eux.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Tout d’abord, Stéphane et Carol sont très réactifs et disponibles pour toutes questions. Ils vous contactent dès la demande de réservation et répondent à toutes vos questions un délai court. La Villa Lombardi était parfaite, la literie est extrêmement confortable. Les chambres sont grandes et il y a une salle de bain dans chacune d’elles. La piscine est très bien et l’extérieur est assez grand. Pour les cuisinier(e)s comme moi, il y a tout ce qu’il faut ! De grandes marmites pour faire de bon repas pour toute la famille quand la météo ne le permet pas et le barbecue quand il fait beau. Le village est très (trop) calme et il y a très peu de personnes dans les rues. Peu d’activités au cœur du village mais autour pleins de maisons à visiter pour déguster du bon Champagne. Celui de la Villa Lombardi est aussi très bon. On reviendra !!

Retreat to the other garden, near the entrance of the house for an apero or a BBQ.A separate building - Le Chai - will offer a selection of meals (you only need to heat them briefly to serve), champagne (of course) and some other drinks. You will be charged separately. The village is calm, not many shops, but various places to visit not far away; don't forget to visit Troyes.Recommended restaurant: Le Garde Champetre (need to make reservations). Not to forget: very friendly contact with the proud owners Stephane (who makes a fabulous champagne - I know cause I have probably tasted more than 50 during 15 visits to the Champagne region) and Carol before and during our stay.

This is a beautiful complex with so much outdoor space!Fantastic heated pool and added bonus of a big hot tub too! The pool terrace is an absolute suntrap and the location is surrounded by various champagne houses within walking distance.Incredibly kind and responsive hosts - the gifts and children sized robes left out for our children was a lovely touch!

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse! Huset är jättefint, rent och fräscht. Väldigt vacker utomhusmiljö med ett härligt poolområde. Dessutom väldigt god champagne!

Immaculately presented Villa, really helpful and communicative hosts. We had the best stay and would totally recommend it.

Zeer goede verzorging en alles spik en span, zeer netjes en een fantastisch zwembad en jaccuzi.Prive parkeerplaats voor meerdere auto's en laadpaal(hadden wij niet nodig)Eigenlijk geen enkel commentaar behalve dat de tijd in het betreffende dorp 200 jaar heeft stilgestaan.Er zijn geheel geen mensen op straat of andere bedrijvigheid te bekennen....het is daar doodstil.Maar...een tiental km verder heb je de stad Troyes en dat is dan weer wel levendig....dat is dus wat je zelf wenst.Wel zijn er een aantal prima restaurants en een Spar en nog wat winkels voor de normale levensbehoeften.Het is daarentegen wel HET uitvalscentrum voor de champagne liefhebber, vele champagnehuizen op loopafstand met proeverijen.En de champagne is van zeer goede kwaliteit.Dus een aanrader.

Zeer mooie locatie, erg stil, mooi zwembad en erg netjes en schoon. Alleen in het dorp zelf heeft de tijd 200 jaar stilgestaan en weinig tot geen vertier maar wel een paar plaatsjes verderop. Wel een paar prima restaurants. Dikke plus van ons, we verbleven er met 7 volwassenen voor 3 dagen en hadden ook nog eens top weer van 29 graden van 1 tot 4 mei 2025.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay - the place was beautiful, pristinely clean and the pool and hot tub were great. We instantly felt so happy and relaxed when we got there (even with two small children!). My husband, children and I all thought it was absolutely perfect and we would love to stay again. The hosts were also super responsive, thank you so much for such a lovely stay!

Le logement est superbe, très bien équipé exactement comme dans la description. L'arrivée est facile, les indications très claires, c'est parfaitement propre. Les hôtes sont très réactifs et devancent les questions que l'on pourrait se poser pour nous faciliter la vie. Bref, tout est absolument parfait et conforme à la description. En plus de cela, il y a de l'exceptionnel :- La literie est ultra confortable, à tel point que j'ai demandé les références de matelas et coussins aux hôtes ( qui me les ont gentiment donné )- le système du chai, avec à l'achat de manière très simple à toute heure de très bons plats et desserts, du vin du champagne... en quantité bien plus que suffisante et à des prix très raisonnables.- une bouteille de champagne était au frais et offerte par les hôtes.Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, je recommande vivement et merci aux hôtes !

The house is amazing, very private and even more beautiful than in the pictures! The pool with lounges set was a great way to spend our holiday. In the area there a lot of champagne houses to visit and the Lombardi champagne was also really delicious! Would definitely recommend this accommodation for a holiday in the champagne area.

Amazing home with a beautiful French feel. The pool is stunning and perfect fun for family time. The street has numerous champagne tasting locations which is fun to do. The town is very quiet but beautiful and short drives out to the vines. We loved our holiday here!

Perfect spot for a view of the French countryside. The hosts are incredible and helped us tremendously. My kids loved the pool. You have an entire compound to yourself. Very relaxing.

Carol and Stephane’s place is a superbly appointed property, very stylish and comfortable for the four people in our party - each bedroom having its own bathroom facilities. The villa is very private, but easily accessible and is within walking/cycling distance of the small supermarket and Boulangerie meaning it’s very convenient if you like to cook. There are also some good takeout options with the local pizzeria which we used a few times and also the very good cafe down the road that changes menu every day. It’s the perfect place to come and relax, read a book, go for a walk and wind down around the fantastic pool - it’s quite rural so don’t go expecting a vibrant night life! Drink superb champagne (Stephane does a very interesting tasting session of his own champagne at the property), eat cheese and forget about the world for a while! Locally Troyes and Essoyes are well worth a visit if you are art enthusiasts.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week-end dans la maison de Stephane. Le lieu est sublime, très bien entretenu, chaleureux & accueillant. Des petites attentions nous attendaient à notre arrivée, tout est pensé dans les moindre détails.Une literie très confortable, ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas, un logement très bien équipé et une très bonne disponibilité de la part des hôtes. Toujours réactifs aux échanges, avec beaucoup de gentillesse et très arrangeants.Nous recommandons vivement et ne manquerons pas de renouveler notre séjour 🙂

Eine Flasche Champagner im Kühlschrank, was will man mehr:-) Wir waren an Ostern…..zu kalt für den Pool. Im Sommer stellen wir uns das toll vor, wenn der Pool geöffnet hat. 😞 - Nichts
